Finding Help Made Easy

We make it easy for organizations like DFCS to connect people to social care services and follow up more quickly. Find Help Georgia lists thousands of organizations throughout the state serving their local communities.

Find Help Georgia connects people to free and reduced-cost direct services, whether it’s financial assistance, food pantries, medical care, childcare, job training, and other needed resources specific to your area.

Find Help Georgia:

  • Costs nothing to use
  • Links only to free and reduced cost services/resources
  • Is designed for help seekers or providers helping connect families to resources
  • Can be translated into over 100 languages
  • Can email or text resources to help seekers with a high level of privacy (personal information is never shared)

DFCS Focused Training

As a family-serving provider, you are able to access a variety of tools to better connect families to resources. You can learn more about utilizing Find Help Georgia by attending our remaining training:

The session is created just for DFCS employees. We do offer ongoing training for a deeper dive on using Find Help Georgia, see more training dates here.

Please note: If you’ve already taken our 2-hour CBO Find Help Georgia training, the DFCS Focused Training is the “Seeker” and “Helper” content from the first part of the CBO training. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.

DFCS Employees can use Find Help Georgia to connect families with supportive resources!

  • USE FindHelpGA.org which contains thousands of local and statewide programs designed to assist and support families. See what services are available and add more you know are missing. You can send families resources via text or email from the Find Help Georgia platform (all personal information is kept private).
  • DOWNLOAD the Find Help Georgia mobile app to use with clients.                                                        
  • Encourage families you serve to call a Find Help Georgia Resource Specialist (1-800-244-5373) to talk to a trained professionals who will connect them with supportive programs.
  • Print flyers (half page, prints on 8.5” x 11”) for your organization, request mailed materials, and more. Encourage families to use this FREE platform to connect to resources.
