CJCC Special Conditions to Providers for Find Help Georgia
CJCC subgrantees agree to take reasonable steps to embed Find Help Georgia, into their workflow processes. Find Help Georgia is a virtual community resource platform designed to make finding and linking clients to help easier! Reasonable steps include the three items below.
1. Attend Find Help Georgia Certified Navigator Training
Subgrantees should have at least two designated staff members become a Find Help Georgia Certified Navigator by attending one of the virtual 2-hour workshops that are offered for free one to two times each month. Having staff trained equips them to claim and update all of its agency’s program listings to ensure its services populate for their coverage area. The workshop teaches staff how to search the platform, refer people to programs, and respond to incoming referrals.
- Instructions and Clarification
- To register for upcoming trainings, please visit: https://findhelpga.org/about/#Training. On the training registration form, list your organization as it is shown in CJCC’s records to ensure your organization has fulfilled this requirement. Make sure you register in advance as the training is only offered one to two times each month.
2. Have Qualifying Services Listed and Claimed on Find Help Georgia
Subgrantees should ensure their organization’s qualifying services are listed and claimed on Find Help Georgia. Qualifying programs include those that are free or reduced cost and available without a referral.

- Instructions and Clarification
Attending the Find Help Georgia virtual 2-hour workshop (as mentioned in #1) will provide instructions and one-on-one support on listing and claiming your organization and service programs on Find Help Georgia. For additional written instructions on how to list and claim your agency’s programs, please visit:https://findhelpga.org/about/#FirstSteps.

-
- Please note this excludes organizations who do not provide services directly to the public but require a state agency referral from entities such as DFCS to receive services. For example, an organization who only provides Court Appointed Special Advocate Services (CASA) would not need to be listed or claimed. However, an organization who provides
-
- CASA (not available without court referral),
- Family visitation center (publicly available), and
- Peer mentorship program (publicly available)
- would need their organization listed and claimed. Their listing would include the family visitation center and peer mentorship program on their organizations listing. If you are unsure if your organization needs to make sure they are listed and claimed, the Find Help Georgia specialist can assist with this during the Find Help Georgia virtual 2-hour workshop, which all organizations are required to complete.
-
- If you have submitted/suggested your program through FindHelp and it was not approved, please forward that email to info@findhelpga.org if you believe it should have been included in Find Help Georgia.
-
3. Linking to Find Help Georgia
The organization should link Find Help Georgia to its agency’s website for clients to easily access the virtual resource platform. Subgrantees can request code to embed a simple search box, as pictured below, onto their website by emailing info@findhelpga.org or insert a simple hyperlink to https://findhelpga.org/.
These requested activities can be accomplished at no charge and technical assistance can be request by contacting: info@findhelpga.org.
